Just finished week 4 and I cannot say enough good things!

 I normally prefer in-person classes for yoga but the flexibility of this series was exactly what I needed with my newborn. I highly recommend these classes to any woman, regardless of pregnancy status, as they are hugely beneficial in providing the right combination of bodily awareness, strength, relaxation, and reflection.

How far postpartum should I be?

This series is appropriate for 2+ weeks postpartum in most cases of vaginal delivery. For c-section mamas, we recommend waiting until 6 weeks postpartum. Check with your midwife or OBGYN to ensure this timeline is appropriate for you!

Can I view on phone and computer?

Yes! Our videos are optimized for phone and computer visibility so you can access on the go wherever you are.

Can my baby be present when I take the classes?

Yes! It’s a blessing to have your little one next to you when moving. I often would have mine do a mix of tummy time and mat play time. I give cues in class for movements where you could hold your little one if they need some extra bonding time with mama mid-class, too!

Can my other kids be present when I take the classes?

Yes! All videos use language that is appropriate for little ears — no vulgar words here!

Why four weeks?

It takes 4 weeks for true muscle change to occur. Thus, four videos outlined as a new video each week helps us make a change in the way your muscles and joints are supporting your healing postpartum!

I’m in pain, can I take the classes?

Many women report feeling less pain and discomfort following these yoga classes! That being said, check with your individual provider to ensure prenatal yoga is right for you if you are in active pain. Dr. Kayla offers 1:1 appointments and can help you determine this, too.
