Integrative Dry Needling
Modern Dry Needling is a highly effective physical therapy treatment tool to evaluate and treat neuromusculoskeletal conditions, pain, movement impairments and disability. All in-person physical therapy clients have the option to use this treatment modality during your appointment.
While this is the same dry, monofilament needle as utilized in traditional acupuncture, our methods of treatment differ. Traditional Chinese Medicine utilizes energy meridians to determine treatment locations. Integrative Dry Needling is founded on neuro-anatomy and modern scientific study of the musculoskeletal and neuromuscular systems to promote the body’s natural healing process.
If Integrative Dry Needling is not for you, cupping is another manual therapy technique that Dr. Kayla often utilizes and may recommend.
Working with Dr. Kayla has been the best investment I made in myself/in my health this past year.
She has helped with my knee and back pain immensely. Has taught me so many tips to stay injury free, and even has me working on mobility and feeling confident in every day life. Next up: she is going to help me get back into running. Each appointment is great and never feels rushed. She spends so much time with her patients and truly is invested in their journey!!

Are there additional charges for Integrative Dry Needling?
Nope! All modalities recommended for use within your treatment session are included with fee for service at time of booking. No additional fees are added for treatment options such as Dry Needling.
What should I wear?
Comfortable, loose-fitting clothes should be worn so that you can easily move and we can optimally assess your pain-points.
Do I need a referral?
No! A physician referral is not necessary for any of our services. We can schedule an appointment as soon as you are ready. However, I am happy to collaborate with any other healthcare professionals you are working with to ensure the best care possible for you.
Who will I work with?
You will work 1:1 with Dr. Kayla Borchers for the entirety of your appointment. We never double book appointment times, or alternate treatments with a PTA.
Do you accept my insurance?
We are an out of network provider. This means that we do not directly bill or accept insurance. However, we will provide you with a Superbill, which you can submit to your insurance company directly for coverage of some if not all of your PT services, particularly if you have a PPO plan.
How do I file for insurance reimbursement?
You can easily determine your out of network Physical Therapy benefits by calling the phone number on the back of your insurance card. Following each appointment, we will send you a Superbill with all of the information you need to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
Do you accept FSA/HSA?
Yes! Simply input this as your payment method when scheduling your appointment.
Can I bring my child with me?
Children are always welcome during your scheduled appointment time with Dr. Kayla. It is up to you if you would prefer solo treatment time or if it’s best to bring your child(ren) along! I do keep some toys on hand for your little ones, as I know how much I appreciate this as a parent!
